House Rules & Regulations 

For your safety and enjoyment while at the Hotel Melcome (Unit of Hotel Blue Mountain) – please
abide by the following house rules:

  • The hotel shall not be responsible for the cars of resident/visiting guests or for any loss or
    damage caused to them while they are parked in the premises. The hotel is not responsible
    for handling the guest cars, driver’s/maid’s food and accommodation.
  • The client shall be liable for loss or damages caused by them, their employees, other
    assistants with respect to hotel property and assets. The loss would be recovered from the
    host/guest/client by the hotel management in addition to the billing
  • Washing of Clothes in bathrooms & hanging for drying on Balconies etc is STRICTLY
    PROHIBITED – we have a same day service Laundry with reasonable rates and request
    you to utilize that service.
  • The hotel management reserves the right to grant or deny entry and may remove any
    individual who fails to conduct themselves appropriately. Guests are required to maintain
    orderly behaviour and comply with all applicable laws during their stay. Our orchards are
    open for guests to enjoy leisurely walks, and we kindly request everyone to be considerate
    of others and respect the natural surroundings. However, fruit picking is strictly prohibited,
    and any violation of this rule may result in penalties or removal from the property. Our
    Gardens are open to all & thus Public Areas – Alcohol consumption in the Gardens at any
    time is thus prohibited.
  • The Hotel assumes no responsibility for personal items (such as, jewellery, money, debit
    cards, mobile phones, laptops, watches, glasses, purses etc.) that are lost or damaged
    during your stay. We provide electronic safes in every room for your convenience.
  • ‘Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places Rules 2008’ came into effect on October 2, 2008,
    thus smoking anywhere in the hotel including the rooms, restaurant, lobby, terrace and
    balconies is prohibited.
  • Power Backup – at times of power cuts, the generator will only run during night hours up to
    1 AM & in the morning from 7 – 10 AM. We shall provide an Emergency LED battery light in
    every room as required.
  • Pets are not allowed on hotel premises.

Firearms Policy

  • For the safety and security of all guests, visitors, and staff, Hotel Melcome (Unit of Hotel
    Blue Mountain) strictly prohibits the possession, use, or display of firearms and other
    weapons on hotel premises. This policy applies to all individuals, including guests, visitors,
    vendors, and employees, regardless of whether they hold a valid firearm license or permit.
  • Exceptions to this policy are granted only to on-duty law enforcement officers and
    authorized security personnel who have received prior approval from hotel management.
    Any guest or visitor found in violation of this policy may be subject to immediate removal
    from the premises, legal action, and/or notification to law enforcement authorities.
  • Hotel Melcome prioritizes a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. We appreciate
    your cooperation in adhering to this policy. If you have any questions or require further
    clarification, please contact hotel management.

Drone Policy

  • No drone flying or photography via drone is permitted from the balconies.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Reservations Policy

  • For reservation enquiries please provide us with the proposed dates of your holiday,
    number of nights you plan to stay, number of persons in your party (adults and children, if
    any) and the type of accommodation preferred. Additionally, we can suggest the best
    possible options available to best suit your requirements.
  • Bookings can be made simply by making an advance deposit either through Net Banking
    or Bank Transfer done via RTGS/ NEFT. International remittances are made via SWIFT. For

  • Indian Nationals with cash settlement to the tune of INR 50,000 or above are required to
    furnish PAN card as per the Income Tax Act.

Arrival & Departure Policy

  • Check-In at 1400 hrs and Check-out before 1200 hrs
  • Late Check out and early Check in will be subject to the availability of a room.

Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund of deposit in case the reservation is cancelled 15 days prior to Arrival.
  • 50% refund of deposit in case the reservation is cancelled 7 days prior to Arrival.
  • All bookings are tentative unless paid for in advance. The booking is not confirmed till we
    send you Confirmation Voucher. In case of receipt of payment and non-availability of
    rooms full booking amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellations are not accepted over the phone. All Cancellations must be made in
    writing.
  • Accommodation may be extendable on pro-rata basis subject to availability.
  • All disputes subject to Manali Jurisdiction.

In case of Flight cancellation or other circumstances the Hotel shall not be able to cancel the
reservation & 100% retention shall be levied on the same.

Please Note: There is no provision for maids and drivers to stay on hotel premises. In case a maid
shares the room with the guests, then the extra person charges will be applicable accordingly.

Important: As per the Hotel policy booking voucher must be show on check-in time.

Booking balance must be deposited on check-in time at reception.

As per Government directives it is Mandatory for all the guest to show their Photo ID proof at the
time of Check-In itself which can be in form of Passport, Adhaar Card, Voter ID Card or Driving
license – failing which the hotel reserves the right to deny entry.

The Hotel Melcome (Unit of Hotel Blue Mountain) reserves the right to admission.
